Here there is great justice, because that war is just and necessary, and those arms are compassionate, where no other hope exists but in him.


Although I have not served a sentence for running an organized crime group in prison, I decided to read Il Principe. Niccolò Machiavelli's work is a not-too-complicated manual on strategic acquisition and use of power, the content of which every Thinking Person should periodically review. Timeless and full of examples from ancient and more recent history, it is a treasure trove of strategic knowledge. To benefit from it, one must approach The Prince patiently and not shy away from reflections while reading.
